Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Jewelry Shop Cavite ("the Platform"), you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users: Customers, Companies/Sellers, Suppliers, and Administrators.

2. User Roles and Responsibilities

2.1 Customers

Customers can:

  • Browse and purchase jewelry products from approved sellers
  • Track orders and communicate with sellers
  • Leave reviews and ratings (future feature)
  • Contact support for assistance

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate personal and delivery address information
  • Make payments through authorized methods only
  • Not misuse the messaging system

2.2 Companies/Sellers (Jewelry Shops)

Companies can:

  • List and sell jewelry products on the marketplace
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels
  • Create purchase orders from suppliers
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers via messaging
  • View analytics and sales reports

Companies must:

  • Submit valid business documents during registration
  • Wait for admin approval before listing products
  • Provide accurate business address and contact information
  • Comply with all laws and regulations for selling jewelry
  • Ensure product descriptions and prices are accurate
  • Fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Not sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items

2.3 Suppliers

Suppliers can:

  • List raw materials and supplies for jewelry companies
  • Receive and fulfill orders from companies
  • Manage their product catalog and inventory
  • Communicate with companies via messaging

Suppliers must:

  • Submit valid business documents during registration
  • Wait for admin approval before accessing the platform
  • Provide accurate business address and contact information
  • Ensure materials meet quality standards
  • Fulfill orders as agreed with companies

3. Account Registration and Security

All users must create an account to use the Platform. During registration, you must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Verify your email address using the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to you
  • Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters)
  • Complete the onboarding process, including providing your address information

Account Security:

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via OTP is required for certain actions
  • Customers can optionally enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with a 6-digit PIN for extra security
  • Do not share your password or PIN with anyone
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Failed login or PIN attempts may temporarily lock your account for security

4. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Posting, uploading, or sending illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
  • Selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal jewelry or materials
  • Impersonating another person or business
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or staff
  • Using the messaging system to send spam, scams, or malicious files
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Creating fake accounts or providing false information
  • Manipulating prices, reviews, or ratings
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Conducting transactions outside the Platform to avoid fees
  • Using the Platform for money laundering or fraud

5. Account Suspension and Deactivation

Jewelry Shop Cavite reserves the right to suspend or deactivate your account if:

  • You violate any of these Terms & Conditions
  • You engage in illegal or prohibited activities
  • You provide false or misleading information
  • Multiple users report your account for misconduct
  • Your business documents are found to be fake or invalid
  • You fail to respond to support requests or verification checks
  • You have unpaid debts or unresolved disputes

Consequences of Suspension/Deactivation:

  • You will not be able to log in or access your account
  • Companies/Sellers will not be able to list or sell products
  • Pending orders may be cancelled or frozen
  • You may be required to provide additional verification to reactivate your account

Admins can reactivate accounts after reviewing the situation. You can contact support to appeal a suspension.

6. Marketplace and Selling Rules

For Companies/Sellers:

  • Your account must be approved by an admin before you can list products
  • All product listings must include accurate descriptions, prices, and images
  • You are responsible for managing your inventory and updating stock levels
  • You must fulfill customer orders promptly and provide order updates
  • You are responsible for handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally

For Customers:

  • You can only purchase from approved sellers
  • Review product details carefully before placing an order
  • Contact the seller directly through messaging if you have questions

7. Orders, Payments, and Disputes

Placing Orders:

  • When you place an order, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable fees
  • Orders are processed through secure payment methods (GCash, Grab Pay, Card via Xendit)
  • Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled unless agreed by the seller

Order Fulfillment:

  • Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping orders
  • Customers can track order status through their dashboard
  • Delivery times depend on the seller and location

Disputes:

  • If there is an issue with an order, contact the seller first through messaging
  • If the issue is not resolved, contact our support team through the Contact Support feature
  • Admins may investigate and mediate disputes
  • Refunds and returns are subject to seller policies and admin approval

8. Messaging and File Uploads

The Platform includes a messaging system for communication between users (customers, sellers, suppliers, and support).

Messaging Rules:

  • Use messaging for business purposes only (orders, inquiries, support)
  • Do not send spam, scams, or unsolicited advertisements
  • Be respectful and professional in all communications
  • Do not share personal contact information if you want to keep it private

File and Photo Uploads:

  • You can upload photos and files (PDF, images) in messages for order details, receipts, or product questions
  • Do not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Do not upload viruses, malware, or corrupted files
  • File size limits apply (max 10MB per file)
  • Admins may review uploaded files for safety and compliance

Violating messaging rules may result in account suspension.

9. Notifications

The Platform sends notifications to keep you updated about:

  • Order status changes (confirmed, shipped, delivered)
  • New messages from other users
  • Account activity (login, password changes, 2FA codes)
  • Admin announcements and updates

You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.

10. Admin Rights and Oversight

Admins have the authority to:

  • Review and approve or reject company and supplier registrations
  • View business addresses and documents for safety and verification purposes
  • Deactivate or reactivate user accounts
  • Mediate disputes between users
  • Review support tickets and messages if necessary
  • Monitor platform activity to prevent fraud and ensure compliance
  • Remove content that violates these Terms & Conditions

Admins will not misuse user information and will only access data for legitimate business and safety purposes.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on Jewelry Shop Cavite, including the website design, logo, text, and software, is owned by Jewelry Shop Cavite and is protected by copyright laws.

Product images and descriptions uploaded by sellers remain the property of the seller, but by uploading, you grant Jewelry Shop Cavite permission to display them on the Platform.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Jewelry Shop Cavite is a platform that connects buyers, sellers, and suppliers. We do not:

  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of products sold
  • Control the actions of users
  • Guarantee that all transactions will be successful
  • Take responsibility for disputes between users

Limitation of Liability:
Jewelry Shop Cavite is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from:

  • Transactions between users
  • Defective or misrepresented products
  • Delays, loss, or damage during shipping
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to your negligence
  • Technical issues, downtime, or data loss

Use the Platform at your own risk. Always verify information and use caution when making transactions.

13. Changes to Terms

Jewelry Shop Cavite may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of major changes through email or platform notifications. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Cavite, Philippines.
